While walking through the city, they saw a cat. He lay motionless on the side of the road, unable to move. The couple contacted the shelter, which immediately went to the address given and took the cat to the vet.
The kitten, named Belle, was four years old and the vet said she was ready to give birth. The poor thing had a big bruise on her stomach.
It turned out that the kittens were no longer alive and she had other health issues due to a severe blow to her stomach. Belle was quickly operated on. Fortunately, everything went well and the cat is now in a long-term recovery phase.
She is now able to eat and drink food and water on her own. She also has problems with the joints of her legs, so a worker from the shelter is constantly looking after her to help and support her in this difficult situation.
We hope that this care and support will help her recover quickly. Shelter staff also hope that Belle, who is calm, obedient and very loving, will find a loving owner who will help her forget all the hardships she has been through.
